Summary/Objective:
As a head of the shared service function of accounting, this position will be responsible for leading the team and functions of accounts payable and receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultivate, enhance, and lead a positive work environment
Hire, coach and develop team
Partner with experts to develop an impact measurement plan to define value
Develop and establish best in class processes for order-to-cash, procure-to-pay
Develop the road map to success including continuous improvement, increasing efficiency
Produces and analyzes weekly/monthly KPIs, dashboards and analytics to measure and improve performance
Assists with special financial and business-related projects which impact Shared Services
Manages and administers controls and compliance, assists with both internal and external audits to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests
Foster a strong customer service culture across the center to ensure a quality service is delivered to all internal and external customers
Builds and maintains relationships by collaborating across business units and departments to foster trust, commitment, accountability, and results
Explore opportunities to implement new technologies
Working Conditions:
Primarily working indoors, office environment.

Qualifications:
B.A./ B.S. in relevant field (4 years) or equivalent experience
Business acumen with at least 10-12 years business experience, or equivalent professional experience
Track record of results in strategy development and/or complex implementation
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload with multiple deadlines
Demonstrated leadership skills, including track record of developing talent and managing performance
Proven problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and out-side of the box thinking skills - connecting dots and translating ideas into action
Strong ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships at multiple levels and lead cross-functional teams
Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salaried position. Typically, Monday through Friday 8-5 p.m. with occasional night and weekend hours.

Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.
