Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY


Set-up and runs multi-pallet CNC machines. Control's the tool life management system. Does complete inspection of parts and makes the necessary adjustments to tooling offsets. As operator, you are responsible for quality level of product's being produced and for the continual implementation of process improvements to eliminate waste and reduce costs is expected.

* Performs visual inspection of parts before running.
* Makes a complete inspection of parts per process sheet.
* Checks all dimensions on process sheet using standard shop computations.
* Makes minor adjustments to tooling off sets.
* Uses measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, step Vernier's, dial indicators and bore gauges.
* Controls tool life management system.
* Trouble shoots machine and tooling issues.
* Schedules multi-pallet cells.
* Sets up and runs all jobs on multi-pallet cells.
