Summary/Objective
As an intern with Lippert we hope you bring your curiosity and willingness to learn! We will provide an experience that will allow you to learn more about the specific job function, our organization and culture. As an intern in Internal Audit, you will have the opportunity to observe and job shadow all members of the Internal Audit team as well as others in the accounting and finance department. You will also perform internal control testing and physical inventory audits. There is no expectation that an offer of employment will be extended at the conclusion of the internship.

While performing the duties of this internship, the intern is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Clerical- Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers. Answers telephones, direct calls and take messages. Communicates with management, team members, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and take instructions. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system. Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails. Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules. Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a temporary, paid, full-time position, and the expected work hours are 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is not necessary. Specific hours to be determined between the intern and leader at the start of the role.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree
