What you will do

Sensormatic Solutions, the leading Global Retail Solutions portfolio of Johnson Controls, powers operational excellence at scale and enables smart and connected shopper engagement. Our intelligent digital operating platform - Sensormatic IQ - combines the full Sensormatic Solutions portfolio, including unmatched insights into Retail inventory, shopper behavior, and loss and liability. This enables retailers to act on prescriptive, data-driven outcomes and confidently move into the future.

He/she will drive sales and new logo revenue growth through Channel Partners. You will sell the entire Sensormatic Solutions portfolio (ShopperTrak, Inventory Intelligence, Loss Prevention) to retailers in a B2B environment.

How you will do it


  • Qualify opportunities to be further pursued and determine which channel partner to work with; drive consistency between sales strategy (value messages, relationship approach, competitive differentiation) and content work with the Channel Partner; and pull in the Strategic Sales Support team as needed (solution design, pricing and costing, delivery of proposal, planned project management).

  • Represent deals, accounts and sales forecasting in Monthly reviews.

  • Manage sales activities to continually reflect customer trends, market fluctuations and changes in business practices/technology.

  • Establish and articulate innovations and growth opportunities for retailers.

  • Serve as an advisor to develop vision and industry expertise.

     

What we look for

Required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study.

  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B solution sales in software (SaaS) or hardware solutions.

  • Experience working with distributors, channel partners or resellers.

  • Strong consultative selling approach.

  • Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine. 

Preferred


  • Experience selling Inventory (RFID), Loss Prevention or shopper analytics in the Retail vertical.
