Job Summary

Responsible for implementation and ongoing support of the bank's overall Operational Risk Management program, with a primary focus on Third-Party Management. Additional areas of responsibility may include ensuring Risk Management Programs are in compliance with applicable regulations and bank practices and coordinate and execute various programs and activities related to Risk Appetite Statements, Enterprise Risk Monitoring, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Third-Party Risk Management, Operational Loss Reporting, and facilitation of Corporate Policy, Charter and Procedure Management.

This position will have high visibility across multiple areas of the Bank, including Senior Management.  To be successful, the candidate should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, as establishing cross-functional partnerships with the various Business Lines and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and applying a consistent application of Risk Management Program requirements will be key.

Job Accountabilities

• Support implementation and ongoing execution of assigned Risk Management Program(s) while adhering to related Policy, Program and Procedural documentation.


• Review third-party documentation and due diligence as well as complete periodic scorecards and risk assessments for third-party relationships.


• Coordinate internal Subject Matter Expert risk reviews and provide results to Business Lines to assist with informed decision making.


• Provide education and risk-based guidance to Business Line partners utilizing strong line of business communication and collaboration.


• Provide risk-based support on various Business Line and/or Company-wide initiatives as assigned.


• Remain current with Operational Risk regulatory guidance and industry best practices via public domain, industry-specific organizations, and internal contacts.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting; Experience in risk management, compliance, or other analytical functions Required

• 2-4 years Relevant experience in the financial services or related industry with responsibilities related to risk management or compliance programs and practices; familiarity with regulatory requirements; understanding of banking products and operations. Required


• 4-7 years Relevant experience in the financial services industry with exposure to Enterprise or Operational Risk Management programs and practices; understanding of enterprise risk, operational risk, related control frameworks and practices, and regulatory requirements; solid knowledge of banking products and operations. Preferred
