Data Center Solutions, an industry leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and operation of Power Control Systems in the Data Center arena, has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Application Engineer.

The Data Center Solutions team is looking for a Senior Application Engineer specializing in low voltage switchboards/switchgear and/or medium voltage switchgear to support custom designs and pricing. This role can be based in Nashville or another US based office.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, inter-personal skills, and a strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

A BSEE is preferred. Experience in the manufacture or design of electrical distribution systems is a plus.

Knowledge in the following areas is desirable:

• Applications of Low Voltage switchboards and switchgear
• Applications of Medium Voltage Switchgear
  Design of control/relay schemes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Application of power circuit monitoring equipment
• PLC / HMI programming
• Effective time management to maintain order schedules and a high level of customer service

Ability to interact with field sales force and plant manufacturing personnel.
