The Public Sector team is adding a Senior Account Executive to our growing team based in Washington D.C. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in joining a team that thrives on leading mission-critical communications programs for federal and state agencies. Primary Responsibilities


    • Support day-to-day account management and serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing issues thoughtfully and effectively

    • Manage the client website, including but not limited to updating key sections; drafting, revising, and recommending content and design updates; developing and managing web content review schedule

    • Review Google analytics, identify trends, and recommend actions

    • Manage social listening tools and compile and present reports

    • Research, compile and analyze client media coverage

    • Write, edit and proofread materials including press releases, pitch letters, fact sheets and client correspondence

    • Build lists and pitch media

    • Provide client service administration support; attend meetings, handle scheduling, logistics and provide billing support

    • Participate in new business process including research and proposal preparation

    • Experience managing teams and helping junior staff with their professional development

Key Qualifications


    • 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public affairs or related fields (e.g., consulting, journalism)

    • Prior exposure to energy industry a plus

    • You have a strong interest in business and working with clients in the energy industry

    • Sustainability and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) experience is desired but not required

    • You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines

    • You demonstrate dedication to consistently provide quality work

    • You demonstrate strong presentation skills and the ability to ideate on the spot and actively participate in group discussions

    • You possess solid research, writing, and editing skills

    • You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • You possess a Bachelor's degree
