OBE is seeking a Business Process Owner for the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module in the SAP transformation of our business. The EAM BPO works closely with the Solution Integration Architect, Consultants and OBE business leaders to define business process scope and objectives as they relate to the OBE solutions for Enterprise Asset Management development and deployment.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Lead, develop and deploy Enterprise Asset Management as part of our SAP transformation to meet the overall objective and vision of the project

  • Configuration of Enterprise Asset Management functionalities to include daily team maintenance, preventative maintenance, spare parts strategies – both procurement and stocking levels (local and regional) and contractor management

  • Develop and implement OBE solutions within an SAP environment while providing deep functional, process and technical expertise around OBE Enterprise Asset Management

  • Develop standards, reporting and analytics systems across all the AGS locations for managing all physical assets including operational equipment and work centers in metal processing and material fabrication plants, technological equipment, and vehicles

  • Harmonize best practices and maintenance strategies across the AGS business as well as all of OBE

  • Gather requirements through leading workshops, individual interviews, or other means across OBE businesses to fully understand the Enterprise Asset Management scope and functions to both minimize downtime and maximize the useful life of capital assets

  • Ensure integration of SAP and OBE solutions with other technologies and systems including current OBE applications

  • Ensure solution delivered meets needs the transformation expectations of all stakeholders

  • Assist in development of process documentation, training materials, user guides or other documentation as defined

  • Establish and manage the project, to include the build and deployment

  • Provide project status updates to leadership as requested

  • Collaborate with other SAP BPOs and modules 

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Abilities


  • 5 years of experience in a plant environment, preferably with aluminum extrusion presses and CNC milling and drilling equipment


  • Proficiency with CMMS software is an asset

  • Prefer prior SAP experience


  • Multi-task and work under pressure to hit tight deadlines

  • Deliver projects in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Analytical mindset and comfortable working with data

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

  • Maintain a collaborative, team relationship with peers and colleagues to effectively contribute to the group’s achievement of goals


  • Help foster a positive work environment

  • Travel is required to plant sites, corporate office, and partner locations throughout the project duration
