The Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile is looking for a Night Auditor to join the Front Office team!

This beautiful property features 445 suites with views of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan, located just two blocks from the Magnificent Mile. The property is a 15-minute walk from Navy Pier and Millennium Park. The Grand CTA station is half a mile away, for access to more Chicago landmarks along the Red Line.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 -2 years previous experience as a guest service agent, excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity. Previous experience in accounting/financial as well as OnQ experience is a plus!

This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts are typically Friday - Tuesday from 10:30pm - 6:30am or 11pm - 7:00am.

What will I be doing?

As Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage
  • Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists
  • Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members
  • Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
