360 Live Media and Smithbucklin are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team in Washington, D.C.

This Senior Graphic Designer will contribute and support projects related to the implementations of visual strategy and brand activation plans. This work will be shared across two teams, the 360 Live Media team, an agency within Smithbucklin who serve clients by assisting with the creation of high impact designs intended to engage and attract a variety of audiences. And as a part of Smithbucklin’s Corporate Marketing team, the unit within the company leading and supporting business development, external branding building and internal communications. What You Will Do:

  • You will have a critical role in the design functions for client and corporate marketing deliverables, with the opportunity to collaborate with our senior leaders through the conceptualization, development and production of a range of print and digital projects including, but not limited to: logos, event themes, emails, banner ads, videos, websites, social media, meeting programs and promotional materials, mobile applications, interactive campaigns, infographics, new business proposals and other solutions on behalf of our clients and company.
  • You will have the opportunity to:
    • Collaborate with client services, creative, event strategy, and marketing teams to assess project needs and apply appropriate creative design solutions
    • Evolve visual creative brand guidelines as necessary
    • Implement best practices and ensure cohesive and consistent brand design across products and platforms
    • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
    • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and of the highest quality
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications
    • See projects through the whole creative lifecycle, from inception to deployment
  • You will receive training to serve as the videographer for client or corporate marketing shoots as the need arises.
    • Duties include filming in the D.C. office, ensuring that equipment for a shoot is present and working, helping plan a shoot with the creative team and the client, and minor post-production filming editing
  • You will be encouraged to explore and share new knowledge about trends, tools, and techniques in graphic design

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution with a concentration in Graphic Design or related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant professional experience, to include hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and other graphic design software
  • Examples of your work (e.g., your portfolio website)
  • Video, Website, or Mobile Application experience is a plus
