Technical Training Specialist

Position Overview:

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting others in developing their God-given talents and achieving success. You will be focused on creating the environment for members to have a great onboarding and training experience. You will be a primary point of contact for onboarding and training at your facility.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure Johnsonville's unique culture continues to thrive and serve as a competitive advantage for the organization - now and in the future
  • Create a welcoming environment that offers a great member experience
  • Plan and facilitate the new memberonboarding and training experience in a variety of settings: one-on-one, small, or large group
  • Support new members in building relationships between their coach, Team Leader, on-line trainer, and members of the core team
  • Ensure new members have the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to be ready to work on the floor (e.g., Johnsonville Way, Safety, Food Safety, work environment, role requirements)
  • Seek feedback from the coach/team of each new member after the transition to 100% on-line training (i.e., following the first 2-week period)
  • Collaborate with a member driven team to create standard work instructions for manufacturing processes, audit standard work instructions and revise as needs change
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard work
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure members are applying new skills and techniques into work behaviors
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning & Development Coordinator, Team Leaders and on-line trainers to continuously improve the onboarding and training programs, ensuring it aligns with the needs of the floor
  • Generate reports on technical training progress and effectiveness; communicate regular updates with Team Leaders and Learning & Development Coordinator

Education :


  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience :


  • 2-3yearsfoodmanufacturing experience preferred
  • Leadership experience is preferred
  • Experience providing instruction and/or training to individuals and groups of people is preferred

Location: Meadowside - 2 Positions (1 - 2nd shift; 1 - 3rd shift)

Countryside - 2 Positions (1 - 2ndshift; 1 - 3rd shift)

Riverside - 2 Positions (1 - day; 1 - night) Examples: 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; 6 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.)

Shift: Flexibility and willingness to adjust hours to support other shifts is required

Coach: Learning & Development Coordinator or TBD (dependent on the facility)

(We don't have bosses at Johnsonville. We have Coaches. They are there to help you develop your talents. They cannot make you run laps.)

Member Status: Full Time, Hourly Office Technical
