Director of HR Operations
We are searching for an experienced Director of HR Operations at our Corporate Office - CORP HR facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Director of HR Operations
In this position, you will be
reporting to the VP, People and providing oversite for the day-to-day
operations of the assigned areas of the Human Resource function, specifically
Employee Relations, Total Rewards and People Administration. The Director,
HR will act as an employee and management champion and change agent.
Responsible for assessing and anticipating HR related needs and communicates
needs proactively with HR and internal customers as appropriate to meet
business objectives. The HR Manager formulates partnerships across the
organization to deliver value added service to management and employees that
reflect the business objectives of the organization. This position serves in an
authority and decision-making role on related HR issues when interfacing with

Leads and/or participates in investigations regarding complaints from the EEOC,
EDD, DOL, attorney demand letters. Provides formal responses as required.
Provides direction and guidance on policy and procedures and how they relate to

action, grievance and terminations.
Actively manages the disability and leave of absence process, interpreting and
validating job descriptions, job performance expectations, accommodations, drug
and alcohol, and/or physical impairment.
Understands the business and culture of the organization and works closely with
leadership to translate/interpret current policies and procedures. Brings
knowledge of Human Resource needs and issues to the discussions and
Support diversity/cultural activities by driving awareness and understanding
while promoting and establishing cultural norms throughout the organization.
Assures effective communication between the HR function and operations.
Serves as a sounding board to the operations leaders of the organization as it
pertains to the employee relations of the operations.
Empathetic person who serves as the face of the company to diverse employees.
Possesses the authority to make final decisions on HR related issues when
working with operations leaders.
Evolve the company's compensation philosophy and strategy, inclusive of salary
bands, variable compensation, and equity issuance to be regularly benchmarked
Develop the company's annual and long-term incentive programs.
Establish processes for managing salary range structures as well as grading
jobs against market data by contributing to salary surveys and using associated
data. Provide guidance and recommendations to managers around job analysis, job
descriptions and appropriate compensation benchmarking, including ad-hoc
reporting as required.
Support the management of the annual compensation review process, as well as
provide off-cycle support to managers as needed.
Manage compensation program budgeting, salary structure development, salary
increases, and incentive pay program design and administration. Oversee
compliance with local wage and employment laws including pay and

Review employee benefits offerings and recommend changes to maximize employee
satisfaction and safety, leveraging costs and tax-efficient programs and to
ensure equity and competitiveness. Manage vendor relationships to include

Assess and analyze current trends; provide regular reporting and strategic
recommendations based on company and employee requirements and fiscal drivers.
Manage a competitive 401k plan, which includes Plan Administrator duties,
planning quarterly meetings with the committee, as well as all ongoing
compliance, reporting and filing requirements Drive wellness initiatives with
emphasis on mental health resources and support. Ensure company policies and
protocols follow all relevant regulations, examples: ERISA, ACA-related, HIPAA,
records management, etc.
