Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive Sr Network Engineer with strong interpersonal and Technical skills to operate a large-scale LAN/WAN network infrastructure deployed globally. The candidate will support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices. He/she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices, provide network documentation, monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Long Beach CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 4 years of experience in Cisco switching/routing and LAN/WAN configuration for highly available systems.
• Hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining data networking systems including routers, switches, firewalls, secure WiFi, and load balancing platforms.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting of Network devices such as Cisco Routers Switches, Wireless Controllers & Access Points
• Understanding of Network traffic and firewalls( ASA firewalls or Palo Alto firewalls or Check Point Firewall)
• Knowledge of F5 load balancers; Citrix Netscalers
• Experienced in implementing multiple layer 3 protocols, especially EIGRP, OSPF and BGP.
• Must be able to work in a 24 hours on-call capacity.
• Should have products knowledge essential and Comprehensive understanding of major data networking technologies and concepts
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of Management
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good in communication and in Client Interaction
• Have good knowledge on Troubleshooting and providing speedy solution in case of failure of the applications.
• Some hands on experience with networking technologies in AWS or Azure a plus
• HCI network integrations and Gigamon is a PLUS (primary knowledge) is preferred but not mandatory
• Cisco ISE knowledge is good to have
