AWS Developer with Jenkins and Chef at Infosys Limited in Richardson, Texas

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a AWS Developer with Jenkins and Chef - This position will primary be responsible to interface with key stakeholders; apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; to deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Work location will be Anywhere in US and / or remote. This position may require travel and / or relocation to project locations.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AWS platform, Chef
• Experience in Databases: PostgreSQL, POSTGIS, SQL Server, PL/SQL
• Experience in Version control: GitHub
• Experience in DevOps practices using Jenkins
• Comfortable w/ creating AWS Lambda functions, i.e. expert level in Python.
• Knowledge in programming languages: Python, ArcPY, ArcGIS Widget development(( Not mandatory)
• Knowledge in GIS Applications: ArcGIS desktop (ArcGISPro), ArcGIS Enterprise( Not mandatory)
• Candidate should possess Good Communication & Client- interfacing skills, cross-cultural working experience and should be able to work with multinational clients independently
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
