Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The DSS Juno Health Account Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales cycle to prospect and close new business revenues in (commercial and state) short-term acute care hospital markets, as well as the Behavioral Health, Urgent and Ambulatory Care markets.  The main objective is to generate sales revenue. Experience in territory management, business analysis, creating and executing business development and capture plans, and closing multi-million dollar engagements for Electronic Health Record and/or Healthcare software technologies is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties:


  • Prospecting markets for customers, qualifying leads, doing customer presentations, and the development of new business opportunities in the territory is the primary job responsibility.

  • Create and execute sales strategies to grow new business revenues from DSS Juno Health products, solutions, and services.

  • Be the principal liaison between Juno Health and prospective accounts to develop, enhance, and sustain business relationships through regular contact with key stakeholders in the territory and providing exceptional service.

  • Diligent use of sales automation tools and CRM to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.

  • Create and present weekly territory reports to Senior Management.

  • Support marketing efforts through participation in creative planning exercises, industry events, trade shows, and other networking events.

  • Work with subject matter experts, partner organizations, sales resources, and executives to develop a comprehensive sales plan and close sales proposals.

  • Provide feedback from customers regarding product requirements and features.

Other Duties:


  • Manage administrative task, i.e., maintain CRM data, Time reporting, travel arrangements and expense reporting, etc. as required by company policies

  • 75% travel to Client locations and conferences to perform sales activities

  • Additional travel to DSS Juno Health meetings as required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint).

  • Knowledgeable and proficient in using CRM products to manage territory activities.

  • Healthcare domain knowledge (regulatory requirements, key topics, trends impacting models of health care delivery, etc.).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Proven track record of consistent performance exceeding sales goals

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience selling Electronic Health Record systems and/or healthcare technologies in the Acute Care, Ambulatory and Urgent Care markets

  • Knowledge of the of the major EHR (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and/or MEDITECH) competitive land scape which includes pricing strategies, functional specifications, etc.

  • Knowledge and the Application of EHR Acumen

  • Knowledge and ability to analyze business and clinical workflows

  • Knowledge of the patient journey and related health care models

  • Previous experience required in the following areas:

    • Developing, Forecasting, and Closing new business revenue.

    • Excellent communicator (writing, in-person meetings, and via online platforms)

Optional - Remote - 75% Travel -20% to JUNO Beach HQ, client sites, and trade shows; travel unassisted via common carrier and/or personal auto approximately 75% of the year.

This role can be Remote which would allow most work to be performed at home; however, DSS, Inc. is a Federal Contractor and subject to federal vaccination mandate. Employees must be fully vaccinated to come onto any of DSS, Inc’s sites or Client sites.
