We currently have an immediate need for a Principal Hardware Engineer.  As a Principal Hardware Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative products for the Access Control and Security market. You will work closely with both internal teams and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, design, execution, and test.

How you will do it: 

• Work as part of the Hardware Engineering team 


• Participate in HW development from concept to production


• Complete technical ownership for the projects


• Lead Architecture/Design reviews

What we look for: 

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree 


• 10+ years of Hardware Engineering experience


• Experience with DFx (test, manufacturability, cost)


• Experience with Schematic capture tools (Altium preferred)


• Experience with PCB layout viewers (Altium and Allegro preferred).


• Experience with hardware lab equipment


• Experience with technical document generation using Visio, Word, Excel, etc.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree


• Experience with Linux operating systems


• Experience with Verilog, Xilinx, and Altera/Intel CPLDs
