JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Loss Mitigation Support Team Lead will be responsible for handling escalated matters, training and provide assistance and oversight to junior level staff in the absence of their respective Supervisor/Manager. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to escalated issues from both internal and external sources.
• Assist with pipeline assignments.
• Analyze, distribute and/or prepare reports, track account workflows and provide results to management.
• Monitor performance and provide additional training to junior level staff as needed.
• Assist with training new hires.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities as needed for relief assignments in the absence of Supervisor.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for department with the knowledge and ability to make decisions and/or provide direction on challenging files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite at an intermediate level preferred
• Knowledge of requirements and guidelines for both GSE and Non-GSE loss mitigation programs
• Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department's credibility, operations and services
• Ability to compute, analyze and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop forecasts and computer models for strategic planning
• Ability to make informal presentations, inside and/or outside the organization; speaking before groups
• Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis (longer that one month) and within allotted work schedule timelines

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years of combined experience in loss mitigation, collections, or a call center environment.
