GDIT is seeking a Technical Content Development Lead to join our Growth organization and help create compelling technical content and manage knowledge repositories related to our Technical Capabilities and Solutions. You will be responsible for helping manage the full lifecycle of technical and business artifacts. You will support the design, implementation and management of our SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and other content sites and track and report on key metrics associated with their use. You will work with our Technology Executives and technical SMEs to regularly publish new material, recommend updates to existing materials, and create standardized templates for common artifacts. You will help establish standards related to how we tag and publish material that increase their discoverability and exposure within the company.
Key Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with Technology leadership to develop technical content and artifacts (e.g., whitepapers, presentations, fact sheets) around GDIT’s Capabilities and Technology Offerings
Manage, design and support SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and other content repositories associated with Growth Capability, Learning and Solution Material
Lead efforts to establish standard templates for common technical artifacts related to our capabilities and solutions and support the creation and publishing of these materials
Lead efforts to refresh / update internal website content
Manage the lifecycle of Capability and Solution artifacts / repositories and ensure they are available to authorized users
Update and maintain knowledge repository content around GDIT technology services, experience, and offerings
Assist Growth teams in the identification of reusable content
Monitor and report on the usage and value of technical content
Assist with communicating relevant updates about Capability and Solution information and content in monthly, internal newsletter.
Basic Qualifications in order to be considered:
5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, Communications Specialist, Knowledge or Content Manager
Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, an additional 4+ years of related experience
Expertise with using Microsoft SharePoint and Teams with 2 or more years of experience developing SharePoint sites, databases and libraries
General knowledge and exposure to one or more key technology areas such as Cloud, Cybersecurity, Application Development, Enterprise IT, or AI/ML
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Willingness to submit writing samples
