JOB DUTIES:
Sr. SW Technical Product Lead for Medtronic, Inc. located in Northridge, CA. Responsible for Connectivity Platforms that drive a growing portfolio of applications. Leads the multi-disciplinary product definition process, and applies technical abilities, execution acumen and interpersonal skills. Engages across various functional groups (R&D, IT, Regulatory, Language Translations, Technical Comms etc.). Works on the definition and conformance and user-satisfaction of commercial, customer-facing digital health applications. This includes oversight of the user experience design and human factors concepts. Utilizes SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) to include Agile and Waterfall software development workflows. Develops wireframes, UX workflows, User Interface Prototypes using tools like InVision and Visio. Coordinates the design and implementation of software with the software development team for web-based applications in Java and HTML. Defines Application Programming Interface (API) integration requirements working closely with stakeholders and cross functional teams. Writes user stories, manages product feature backlog, the product requirements and roadmap using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Incorporates requirements to maintain safety and global compliance of medical device software. Maintains control processes according to the medical device quality system and regulatory standards. Develops and tracks product metrics using Google Analytics and Structured Query Language (SQL). Leverages knowledge from Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field and five (5) years of experience developing software in a Healthcare environment and five (5) years of post-bachelor's progressive experience in all of the following: Commercial, customer-facing digital health application portfolios for UX design and human factors concepts; SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) to include Agile and Waterfall software development; Developing wireframes, UX workflows, User Interface Prototypes using InVision and Visio; Leading technical product features for web-based software applications; Defining Application Programming Interface (API) integration requirements; Writing user stories, managing product feature backlog, product requirements and roadmap using JIRA and Confluence; Utilizing Healthcare product development, design control process, quality system and regulatory environment standards; Developing and tracking product metrics using Google Analytics and Structured Query Language (SQL).
