Duties and Responsibilities


  • Processes transactions for Institutional clients, including items of the highest complexity. Reviews requests/documentation for accuracy, completeness and "good order" in accordance with client specific instructions. Maintains balance between quality and productivity to meet department standards.


  • Identifies, analyzes and resolves complex operational issues, in accordance with procedures, in order to minimize risk and exposure.


  • Independently analyzes and engages in the resolution process.


  • Effectively balances quality/productivity along with managing personal and team queues in order to meet department standards.


  • Professionally communicates both verbally and in written format with business partners and internal clients in order to clarify and complete request.


  • Maintains effective working relationships by handling peer and management interactions in a positive and cooperative manner. Maintains open dialogue with Team Leader.


  • Provides input into the development and modification of processing procedures and interdepartmental workflow issues. Participates in VUE initiatives designed to improve processes. Exhibits leadership and/or a high level of engagement with VUE/projects as applicable.


  • Provides coaching and/or training assigned to crew members on department processes, procedures, and quality standards. Helps to identify trends and potential training needs.


  • Demonstrates full proficiency in all Operations processes and the ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert across Operations. Assists with coaching and supporting peers in completing processing requests.


  • Supports the business by offering OT during periods of high-volume and unexpected events.


  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Basic


  • High School Diploma/GED/Associates Degree or foreign equivalent in any career stream

  • 1 Year of experience related to the job description.


Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office. Experience navigating through multiple platforms preferred.


  • Knowledge of defined contribution plans preferred


  • Works effectively in a team environment. Ability to coach others.


  • Possesses strong attention to detail.


  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines.



Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


  • Flexibility to work overtime and/or shifts that are required to meet business needs

    The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

    Work Remotely:
    This role is currently remote until company's decision to return to office.
