Infosys is seeking an Azure Technical Project Manager with quality experience in leading Azure Transformation programs. As a Tech Project Manager, you will provide leadership, guidance and oversight on projects implementing a wide range of technologies for enterprise Cloud Data Strategy, Data Warehousing, Dashboard and web portals, and reporting leveraging Azure data services. Required Qualifications:
Candidate can be located anywhere in the USA. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
3+ years' experience performing progressively more complex and responsible tasks as a technical project manager in business intelligence environments
At least 6+ years of IT experience
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in leading development and support of end-to-end solutions using Azure cloud
Experience in managing teams across multiple locations.
Provide expert advice and guidance to help clients meet their long term objectives
Use technical background to contribute to estimation and design decisions
Use project management expertise to lead successful projects - on time and on budget
Plan, prepare for, and lead meetings with client sponsors and other executive stakeholders
Facilitate client sessions, such as those to identify and prioritize requirements
Using superior written and verbal communication skills to present ideas and persuade your stakeholders
Working on internal thought leadership efforts by contributing to prototype or R&D efforts that will increase our value as an organization
Experience with large scale technical project management in large, complex environments.
Experience with Agile project management.
IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all program/project phases: plan, initiate, elaborate, design, prototype, build, test, deploy.
Demonstrated advanced project management soft skills, including tolerance for ambiguity, ability to earn the trust of stakeholders, ability to motivate team members, tenacious problem ownership, the ability to deliver bad news gracefully, and a dedication to customer advocacy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interaction ability
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
