Job Title: Business Analyst, Global DTC

Reports To: Analytics Manager

Location: Remote
 

The Role

The Business Analyst is a high impact position responsible for understanding everything about our DTC businesses, extracting data-driven insights across our brands globally, and providing support to all levels of the organization.

This role will work closely with brand partners and DTC team members to define opportunities, identify relevant data sources, perform analyses, and deliver actionable insights

A strong candidate for this role is excited by tackling ambiguous problems and is comfortable sharing learnings in a variety of settings.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role include but are not limited to:

• Data Visualization & Interpretation


• Build, maintain, and socialize reporting to a variety of global stakeholders


• Extract business value and meaningful insights from centralized data-repository with both structured and unstructured data


• Communicate complex data in a manner that colleagues in non-technical roles will understand, so it can be applied effectively to business decisions


• Attend critical business meetings to and represent the consumer analytics team and promote data-driven decision making


• Have full understanding of context/caveats behind numbers and ensure broader business is applying learnings correctly


• Help to embed a data-driven mindset across the organization


• Work cross-functionally to define the analytics roadmap


• Collaborate with technology teams as needed to enhance data collection and data activation capabilities

Who You Are

• Excellent communicator both verbally and visually


• Expert presentation & chart builder – can paint a compelling story via visualizations of various datasets


• Graphic design skills a plus


• Ability to interact and relate with all levels of an organization


• Self-starter comfortable working with sometimes minimal direction and undefined tasks

We’d love to hear from people with

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, or related field


• 2-3 years of generating analysis on large sets of data in a direct-to-consumer, ideally eCommerce, context. Proven track-record of effectively working with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams, as well as third-party agencies/partners


• Full-stack analyst preferred: ability to work with a variety of data-sources to solve complex business questions


• 2-3 years of data visualization experience


• Experience with Tableau or equivalent product required


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing business needs


• Including a portfolio of reports/visualizations created in past work-experiences would be a plus


• Familiarity with cloud data solutions (i.e. Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, etc.) a plus
