As a leading hospital for Women’s Health, this academic medical center has one of the highest delivery volumes in the region, along with a Level III NICU, board-certified obstetricians, Midwives, maternal fetal specialists, neonatal professionals, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, highly-trained nurses, and a dedicated team of ancillary staff all available on-site 24/7. 

Reporting to the Service Line Director of Women and Children Services, the Maternity Services Nursing Manager will be primarily responsible for all administrative and clinical operations of the 50 bed Mother-Baby unit.  Responsibilities of the Maternity Services Nursing Manager include managing the budget, department staffing (screening, interviewing, hiring, and scheduling), preparing accreditation and survey material, ensuring state and federal regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, developing educational curriculum, and cross collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including (but not limited to) the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery, Nurse Educators, Staff RN, LPN, technicians, physicians, social workers, ancillary staff, and more. 

The Nurse Manager Maternity Services must be a seasoned nurse holding their RN license along with prior Director, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager experience overseeing an inpatient Maternal Child, Mother Baby, or LDRP unit. Since this is a full-time, direct-hire position working for a reputable hospital in New Jersey, the Maternity Services Nursing Manager must be fully-vaccinated with proof of their COVID-19 vaccination along with their up-to-date influenza vaccine.
