A 50-bed facility located in North Central Idaho is seeking a Director of Emergency Services. This hospital has been serving the community for over 100 years and is continually making strides to meet the needs of the growing community. This short term acute care facility is proud to be recognized as a Designated Provider of Maternity Care by the Blue Cross of Idaho and continuing to better our care for our patients and community is by completing the National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification Program.

The Director of Emergency will instruct the services provided to patients and ensure that Federal and State standards of care are being met. The ER Director will evaluate and analyze current processes and make quality improvements within the Department to achieve exceptional patient centered care. The Emergency Services Director will work with the Chief Nursing Officer and provide recommendations on strategic goals and objectives for the emergency and trauma services. The Director of Emergency will assist in educating the clinical and non-clinical staff on the standards and new departmental processes and provide support and encourage growth within the unit. The ER Director will work with other health care professionals to ensure the scale of service continuously improves and responds to the community's needs and implements these tools within the Emergency Department. Ideal candidate will obtain a current RN license, have years of management experience, and have a Bachelors in nursing.
