Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and team-oriented person to join our close-knit Human Resources team in Dallas, TX. You will have the opportunity be involved in recruiting initiatives, payroll, all aspects of the benefit programs and employee development.

Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Assist in administering and communicating all benefits programs such as health insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, short and long term disability plans, FMLA, and fitness reimbursement.

  • Manage candidates and job postings within Applicant Tracking System (Paycom) including creation of job descriptions, posting jobs, and screening resumes.

  • Process employee change requests and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date in HRIS all Daisy systems.

  • Learn payroll process and become back-up for processing payroll.

  • Assume responsibility for on-boarding new employees, including both on-boarding related meetings and administrative tasks related to on-boarding.

  • Assist in preparing and filing information for government reporting requirements.

  • Assist in administering employee recognition program.

  • Assist in managing the intranet website as a source of communication to all employees. Includes developing stories and additional content.

  • Participate in planning and hosting company sponsored events.

  • Develop and share internal/external learning resources.

  • Perform other related duties as required to ensure departmental goals are met.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree required; advanced degree is a plus.

  • One to four years of Human Resources related experience preferred.

  • Position located in Home Office (Dallas, TX). Will be hybrid role.

  • Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to Human Resources.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Must build relationships across the entire organization.

  • Present a professional and positive attitude at all times.

  • Must possess the desire to continue to learn and grow professionally and personally.

  • Organized with attention to detail.

  • Ability to create innovative solutions.

  • Ability to function as a self-motivated team player.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and respond to short project
    deadlines with accuracy.
