The Cash Support Specialist 1 is responsible for assisting the Cash Management Disbursement, Processing and Banking Units with their tasks, depending on daily department needs.  These tasks include research, review and processing of loan disbursements and/or payments, running reports, processing import/export files, data entry, and gathering information to respond to requests.

Main Responsibilities


  • Research, review, and process payments from various sources. Process basic payment/account transactions, adjustments, and reconciling items.  Communicate with internal departments regarding daily work issues. Prepare and process the daily check deposits using Remote Deposit Capture.  Organize and file daily backup and work processed.

  • Research, review and approve pending refund disbursements up to authority level. Process basic disbursement adjustments and coordinate any additional entries needed into the general ledger.

  • Process daily loan disbursements by issuing and mailing checks, coordinating ACH payments, and entering wire transfers.

  • Enter or update Insured ACH banking instructions and/or payment information in loan management system.

  • Generate, review, distribute and/or process a variety of daily operational reports from internal systems and bank websites.

  • Handle basic requests from department physical mail and email boxes. Process requests and/or respond to inquiries from internal and external customers. Take corrective action as necessary to resolve issues.

High School Degree or equivalent

Non-Standard Hours:

8:00 am – 5:00 pm CST - Hybrid Schedule, some on-site expect
