Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Senior Java AWS Developer - In this role you will design, develop, modify, enhance and implement software systems designed to support new or existing business initiatives .You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts & in providing frontline application support including troubleshooting , testing & minor enhancements. You will deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Denver, CO or Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology .
• Experience in JAVA/J2EE, Java Micro services, AWS and cloud based architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in JAVA/J2EE, AWS and cloud based architecture
• Experience with Java Micro services.
• Application-level architect versed in AWS best practices around architecture, design, and security
• Understanding and experience in orchestration platforms
• Knowledge / working experience on AWS Step functions, SQS, SNS, Lambda, EKS, Fargate and API Gateway
• experience in NoSql and Sql (AWS RDS, DocumentDB, dynamoDB will be a plus)
• Good hands-on experience in developing microservices and dockerization.
• Solid experience with NodeJs, Angular and REACT
• experience in any caching technologies (memcache/redis preferred)
• Ability to do detail design
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps automation
• Strong performance tuning and problem resolving skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment is necessary

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
