Job Summary

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the CAPA Manager role involves ownership of the Corrective and Preventive Action System to support medical device customers at the site. This role oversees a small team of engineers and technicians to provide guidance and assistance to the support teams in identifying root causes of issues, and develop strong containment, corrective, and preventive actions.

What a typical day looks like:


  • Managing a small team of Quality Engineers and Technicians

  • Facilitating a compliant CAPA system and providing expertise in root cause and corrective action activities

  • Interfacing with customer representatives to meet their needs and utilize their contributions

  • Reporting on key metrics to internal and external stakeholders

  • Developing CAPA capabilities at the site, and continually improving processes

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:


  • Experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing field and knowledge of FDA 21CFR820 and ISO 13485 requirements

  • Strong leadership ability and experience managing a team

  • Experience writing, reviewing, and approving nonconformance and corrective action reports

  • Excellent communication skills
