About the Role: 
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, strategic and experienced leader to lead this L&D function. The ideal candidate is resourceful, customer-focused and team oriented and has the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, is able to shift gears in line with business priorities, and enjoys the challenges of developing and improving processes in a dynamic organization. This candidate must also be comfortable working on multiple learning programs in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, willing to roll up their sleeves and deliver results while insisting on the highest standards. They will have depth of experience in program management in the L&D space and have successfully developed and delivered large scale programs globally. They are highly autonomous and have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. The ideal candidate must be self-driven with a high degree of ownership and have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and planning/project management skills. 

 

Responsibilities 


  • Create and implement the L&D strategy and annual roadmap for Tricentis employees. 


  • Develop and experiment with new learning solutions that accelerate the onboarding, proficiency, and mastery of leaders. 


  • Create and implement leadership and employee development programs to increase bench strength, engagement, and satisfaction. 


  • Perform needs assessments to accurately identify gaps. 


  • Incorporate behavioral assessments as critical tools to build and improve communication and collaboration skills. 



  • Facilitate 360 feedback assessments, deliver coaching feedback, and assist with creating development plans. 


  • Influence leaders and senior stakeholders (including directors); demonstrate effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence in all directions and at all levels. 


  • Iterate on and implement the strategy for training and learning programs including but not limited to developing measurements of success based upon business impact/metrics. 


  • Design innovative learning solutions incorporating multiple formats and relevant adult learning activities, including virtual instructor-led material. Implement dynamic design learning approaches that are effective and engaging to learners, applying adult learning principles, and follow-up reinforcement activities 


  • Manage a curriculum portfolio to ensure the team has accurate and up-to-date training materials and assessments from new hire onboarding through continuing education and role specific coaching and practice tools. 



  • Establish and oversee consistent processes to effectively design and develop training materials and programs to best suit the needs of the content (e.g., includes online, classroom, virtual instructor-led training and blended learning options). 


  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and a willingness to be vocally self-critical. 


 

Requirements 


  • 7+ years of work experience in the areas of management and leadership development, organization development, group facilitation, training and training design; or equivalent business experience. 


  • Experience hiring, leading, and scaling teams of Trainers and Instructional Designers, with a track record of developing a high performing team. 



  • Proven ability to influence leaders at all levels to understand their role in employee development and help build their skills. 


  • Strong instructional design skills, including evaluation methodologies and reporting. 


  • Program management skills, including managing details, collaborating with stakeholders, and keeping multiple tasks/projects on target. 


  • Experience in adult learning theory and how it is put into practice in corporate learning with the ability to do full learning needs analysis. 


  • Experience designing and delivering leadership development programs with 360 assessments that have a positive impact on the business.  



  • Strong analytical skills and experience using and presenting data to make decisions. 


  • Proactive problem solver and disciplined self-starter that thrives in an ambiguous environment with ever-changing priorities 


  • Passionate about creating a world class people experience with an insatiable curiosity constantly striving to uncover the best ways to motivate and evaluate talent 


  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. 


  • Experience working in a remote, globally distributed team in a fast-paced high-growth environment strongly preferred 



  • Experience at a technology company or highly successful start-up strongly preferred 


  • Preferred certifications: DISC and DDI
