About The position 

Our team is looking for a Sr SRE! You will participate in the implementation and operation of our edge computing platform that is used to deploy global, scalable and secure applications. Your work includes, but not limited to, deploying product updates, running internal CI/CD infrastructure, identifying production issues and implementing integrations or product improvements that meet operational needs. 

What you will do: 

• Design and deliver infrastructure solutions that will help deploy, monitor and handle the service components of the platform 




• Develop mechanisms to automate monitoring, logging, alerting for SaaS platform 




• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance 




• Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to vet and implement the design 




• Investigate various open source and close source technologies, components, libraries, tools etc. and help build a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable system 




• Hands-on coding in multiple languages while considering performance, scalability, maintainability, and flexibility 

Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and SRE 




• Experience building and managing large scale cloud based efforts 




• Technical confidence and familiarity with DevOps tools, techniques and more importantly, mindset 




• Experience as an SRE/DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role 




• Hands on experience in languages such as Python or Golang 




• Problem-solving attitude 




• Good understanding of Virtualization technologies like KVM, Docker etc. 




• Solid understanding of Cloud orchestration systems such as Openstack, Kubernetes etc. 




• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
