The SMB Principal Full Stack Engineer is a developer with experience in modern web frameworks such as ReactJS and Node.js services. As a Principal Engineer you will work on the Small - Medium Business suite of products that Dun & Bradstreet offers.

The D-U-N-S Number is used around the world to identify and access information on businesses. Dun & Bradstreet has over 400 million businesses' data and the SMB Digital group's products generate over $100 million in revenue. As a Principal Engineer you'll directly impact the products these businesses use in a large scale worldwide web application.

What you will do:

  • Create technical design documents and communicate system design to other leaders and developers on the team.
  • Create best practices and procedures for ongoing development for the team.
  • Collaborate closely with Product managers, design, frontend and backend engineers to architect and build product features.
  • Participate in development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems.
  • Lead through code-reviews, running training and contributing to the best practices of the development team.
  • Requirements (Must Have):

  • 6 or more years of related experience in software engineering.
  • Expert skills in JavaScript or Typescript as well as HTML, CSS.
  • Solid experience developing full-featured client-side applications using state of the art JavaScript technologies.
  • Experience utilizing Kafka.
  • Demonstrated software coding skills in multiple languages.
  • Experience with caching and queuing frameworks such as Redis, RabbitMQ or other services.
  • Ability to work within a collaborative team environment and communicate development ideas.
  • Preferences (Nice to Have):

  • Modern tooling and operations knowledge with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD is a plus.
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science is a plus.
  • Ability to read PHP coding language.
