Under direct supervision, review and validate data from clinical and laboratory studies. Analyze data and write statistical sections of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs).
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with implementing statistical and analytical design, data management, analysis, and reporting for Medline research and outcomes. Monitoring data, including from clinical trials, research & development, post-market and value-based care partnerships.
With guidance from senior team members, use a variety of statistical and analytics software, methods, and techniques to gather, analyze, and assist with interpreting research and health outcomes data.
Assist develop and provide conclusions in simple analysis as appropriate.
Collaborate with team members to generate statistical analysis plan (SAP) including sample size calculations and randomization schedules, compile and clean raw data, conduct appropriate analysis per the SAP and interpret and present results with oversight from senior leadership.
Build and sustain collaborative relationships with individuals in different disciplines and provide support for internal and external teams.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
Work Experience
Experience conducting statistical tests (e.g. t-tests, ANOVAs, linear regression) for the purposes of hypothesis testing.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Experience building and maintaining relationships within and between teams.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
Master's Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
At least one year of experience conducting statistical tests (e.g. t-tests, ANOVAs, linear regression)for the purposes of hypothesis testing.
Experience with SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) and/or power analysis software (e.g. PASS, G*Power)
Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and VBA coding.
