Job Description:

• General Operator Perform varied tasks to pack cream cheese including:  operating 3 lbs filler, 30 lbs or 50 lbs filler, make boxes, weighing or seal boxes, maintaining quality, packing 3 lb or 8 oz cartons into larger cartons, feeding or packing tubs or cups, lift truck pallets to cooler. 


• Perform various clean-up functions of equipment used for packaging and processing, washing floors and walls, as needed


• Train partners to meet requirements of this position (as they train for a General Operator Position)


• Perform various stacking work in coolers


• Take physical inventory


• Must be able to work safely and in a team environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds


• Perform varied tasks as assigned by leader


• Regular attendance is a requirement

Physical Demands:

• Stand up to 12 hours per day


• Ability to lift and reach shoulder height and above repetitively frequently


• Walk up to 50 minutes per hour


• Work in cold, hot or wet environment up to 12 hours per day


• Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds frequently


• Bend/Squat/Twist up to 15 minutes per hour


• Ability to climb steps/ladders and work at heights occasionally


• Ability to quickly access different areas of the plant frequently
