We are looking for a Business Development Specialist, a talented and proactive person who will join our team to help accelerate the green energy transition.As a Business Development Specialist, you will be expected to find new business opportunities, develop existing partnerships and clients, attend trade conferences, and be a positive external face for GreenPowerMonitor.


This position can be based out of any of our DNV offices within the Continental U.S. preferably in the Pacific Time Zone or out of our Austin, TX office.



What You'll Do


  • Prospecting for new business opportunities, new accounts, and working different strategies to obtain knowledge of new clients
  • Develop existing relationships and identifying new value propositions to expand the footprint
  • Traveling for face-to-face client meetings, conferences, and industry events
  • C-Level presentations and negotiations


Position Qualifications




What Is Required


  • High School diploma is required, higher education such as bachelor's or master's degree will be preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in renewable energy monitoring, controls, and asset management
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
  • Strong communicator that can identify, develop, and clearly articulate a client specific value proposition
  • A clear love for renewables and a drive to make the world a better place
  • Strong client communication skills, demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with clients
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestic and international
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • We conduct a pre-employment background check and drug screen
