The HR Generalist plays a vital role in functional and transactional support of a client groups. A key area of impact is assisting one or more HRBPs with execution of day-to-day activities. Duties will include administration of policies and procedures, general client customer service and HR administration, procedure/process improvement, support for staffing & recruitment, wage and salary administration, manager coaching, and compliance.
This individual will represent the Beer Sales HR team, employing his/her knowledge and experience in the application of Human Resource principles, practices and tools that support execution of business strategy, specifically to the Sales team as their client group. In addition, the HR Generalist will assist with special company-wide human resources projects as needed. Experienced or hi-potential generalists may own a client group, growing into the HRM role.
Build strong relationships, internally within the HR team, with internal legal and finance partners, as well as client group key leaders.
Work closely with HR Managers to build and maintain relationships to client group employees across the US in field and home office locations, partnering with specialist teams when necessary.
Prepare and/or ensure all documentation needed to maintain employee files in the HRIS is completed, such as: department transfers, salary changes, terminations, new hires, etc. Obtains approval from appropriate HRBP and work with HRIS team for processing and reporting.
Assist with recruiting efforts from identifying the need to filling a position; by working with hiring manager to craft a job description, initiating the posting and partnering with talent acquisition team to fill the role, and reviewing compensation.
Run, analyze, and audit ad-hoc reports from the HRIS or compensation team for respective client groups.
Work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization on sensitive and/or confidential information; create and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external customers.
Assist HR Managers to execute compensation programs within the client group, to include: data management, data analysis, data integrity and providing guidance to management team on compensation related issues.
Support HR Manager with managing headcount for client groups and updating organizational charts.
Field ad hoc requests from client groups and work with ECC to provide assistance, as necessary (questions re: processes, benefits, PTO, leave, pay, open roles, etc.).
Qualifications:
1-3+ years’ experience as a Human Resources practitioner
Bachelor’s degree required
Must be able to handle highly confidential information
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively to accomplish assignments, with minimal supervision
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong presentation and analytical ability
Highly proficient in Microsoft applications
HRIS experience; Workday preferred
ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
Primary work environment is an office setting
Ability to travel, Up to twice a year
