We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated Material Handler / Shipping Clerk for our operation in Fletcher, NC. The successful candidate will work in a warehouse environment and be responsible for performing various aspects of our shipping and receiving process.

  • Prepares and distributes items for all outgoing shipments

  • Communicates tracking and inventory updates

  • Maintains shipping/handling processes for all equipment, parts, and consumables.

  • Monitors and evaluates inventory for all parts and consumables

  • Maintains inventory accuracy and appropriate stock.

  • Maintains and organize the arrangement and cleanliness inside the warehouse.

  • Assists with inventory control systems, including identifying items, database entry, providing reports and updates; Completes Purchase Requisition of spare part & consumables; and shelves product.

  • Transfer parts in SAP, as well as from in-house location to Field Service Rep when notified from the field.

  • Help management to develop policies and procedures for inventory, warehouse, and shipping/ handling.

  • Communicate with shipping companies (FedEx, UPS) and resolve any issues with shipments.

  • Assists with departmental projects and audits as directed.




Required Knowledge and Skills:



  • Two or more years of warehouse experience required. Inventory experience preferred.

  • MS Office application and general computer skills preferred.

  • Requires general knowledge of warehousing, shipping/handling, as well as scheduling, processing and tracking work orders in a computerized manufacturing environment.

  • Requires ability to efficiently package and prepare domestic and international shipments.

  • Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, paying careful attention to detail.

  • Good written and verbal skills and able to communicate effectively on the telephone.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

  • Must be able to operate a forklift
