In this role, you will be responsible to lead the corporate communication for the Purchasing & Supply Chain Center, this includes being the point person for BU leads while ensuring strong two-way communication throughout the Center. Having the ability to promote creative strategies and solutions while demonstrating a high degree of motivation is a vital component for this position. You will also be responsible for leading the internal communication at the East Liberty Auto Plant, this includes being the point person for executive, crisis, and HR communication at these facilities, ensuring strong two-way communication. This position will also support external media relations, working with AHM Product PR to support product launches.

• Manage P&SCC corporate communications
  
  
  • Create and develop world-class internal communication for P&SCC
  
  
  • Create all communications, including but not limited to speeches and announcements for BU leaders and appropriately distribute
  
  
  • Serve as communication point person with P&SCC BU leaders and other key members to develop communication strategies that further business objectives
  
  
  • Provide communications support to P&SCC on internal and external events as requested
  
  
  • Cultivate, write, and share content/stories for P&SCC consumption as well as use on broader internal and external channels
  
  
  
  


• Lead ELP internal and external corporate communications
  
  
  
  • Lead the development of ELP internal communication, including town hall meetings, bulletins, associate storytelling, executive communication at those facilities
  
  
  • Serve as communication point person with ELP leadership team in developing strategies – including the writing of town hall and associate messages
  
  
  • Work with designers and outside vendors to ensure strong internal communications
  
  
  • Develop strong HR and change management communication for these areas in scope
  
  
  • Strong support of crisis communication, including labor
  
  
  • Manage all internal events/announcements like line-offs, investments, and people stories at ELP.
  
  
  • Develop strong external message points and press material for ELP activity and share with NACC team for execution
  
  
  • Develop strong CSR storytelling opportunities for ELP
  
  
  • Work with NACC and Product PR to tell compelling stories about the people making ELP products
  
  
  • Provide social media content to Zone 1 social media lead
  
  
  
  

We are looking for qualified people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic. To bring the future to Honda as a NACC PSCC & ELP Communication Lead, you must have: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in PR, Corporate Communication, or Journalism or related field required


• 5-8 years of experience


• Strong writing skills, understanding of social and traditional media
