ETL Test Lead, NJ at Infosys Limited in Jersey City, New Jersey

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking an ETL Test Lead.

As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Rutherford (New Jersey) or Jersey City or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
• 4 years of experience in Functional and Data warehouse testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in Functional and Data warehouse testing
• Min 2 years of experience is leading a team to deliver critical applications to client
• Experience in Database and ability to write complex PL/SQLs , Unix commands and Knowledge on Abinitio tool
• Well versed in Data warehouse concepts and testing methodologies
• Knowledge and experience with full Data warehouse ETL lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
• Hands on experience on any Test Management tool like HP-ALM or JIRA.
• Autosys ETL Jobs Knowledge
• Good to have Python scripting Knowledge
• ETL Testing with Ab-Initio testing environment
• Quickly understand the Data warehouse architecture and would assist backend automated testing
• Design Quality guidelines and template following industry standards
• Continuous review of testing procedures and upgrading the process according to the future need
• Conduct lesson learnt with tech/ops team and mitigate the risks by adopting the changes to procedures and guidelines
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Communication and Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Experience and desire to work in a team having diverse / multiple stakeholder and Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
