Marketing Web Specialist (Hybrid) at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Job Description:

The Marketing Web Specialist is responsible for all aspects of creating, editing, and maintaining Pinkerton's marketing website - including optimization and useability. This position will support marketing campaigns and initiatives through the development and design of effective landing pages, thought leadership, and variety of assets.

Essential Functions:


  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Manage the maintenance and content updates for Pinkerton website through the CMS (content management system)
  3. Monitor website traffic and analytics (Google Analytics, CrazyEgg) to determine if changes are needed.
  4. Document website errors through manual audits and work with developers to resolve bugs and other web site related issues as they arise.
  5. Implement and test new website content and development before publishing.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to design and build effective landing pages in support of marketing initiatives.
  7. Assist vendors and internal teams on larger web projects, including intranet redesign.
  8. Maintain all aspects of web usability, SEO, content, and design, while also working toward enhancing content and ensuring site optimization.
  9. Keep current with emerging web technologies and best practices.
  10. Create and schedule email communications in Hubspot as needed.
  11. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree with one to two years' experience in web design, web editing, content management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Competencies:


  • Web editing and content management experience required.
  • Marketing automation experience preferred.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Technical knowledge of HTML and online publishing.
  • Knowledge of marketing tools.
  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
  • Attentive to details and accuracy.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Serve as an effective team member.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
  • Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
