Are you looking to put your strong, heavy civil construction project management skills to use while building large civil water/wastewater projects?  Austin Infrastructure/Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer for projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us. 

 

The Water/Wastewater Project Engineer is on the Project Manager career-track and assists the Project Manager and Project Administrator in a variety of engineering functions identified as procurement and expediting of construction materials.

 

Responsibilities

• Procurement of materials


• Detailed estimation of costs on proposed changes


• Update of contract plans and master schedules


• Overall responsibility of submittals


• Responsible for tracking materials, project coordination and safety


• Analyze, review and update job cost information


• Process change orders as required by project owners


• Manage subcontractors


• Requests for information responses from owners and subcontractors


• Assists in the compilation of close-out documents, including drawings, guarantees, warranties and service manuals for delivery to the owner


• Additional duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent preferred, but may be substituted by experience.


• 2-7 years’ experience in large heavy civil water/wastewater projects
