Opportunities for Intern
Intern will have the opportunity to improve: information gathering skills, ability to synthesize and communicate technical information with a lay audience, presentation skills, ability to work in office environment with standard office technology, ability to use research software, understanding of industry-specific health technology and IT.

Education/Experience:
Applicant must be currently enrolled in a graduate program with a focus on healthcare and/or public policy.
Reasoning Ability:
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and well as strong interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, sometimes with pressing time pressures. Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical information with abstract and concrete variables. Ability to synthesize principles and trends from a broad array of information.
Computer Skills:
Demonstrate working knowledge of the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel applications. Experience with research software a plus.
Other:
Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle; maintain valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
Punctuality and attendance are essential. Must be able to work independently and be willing to ask team members for clarification to maintain effective workflow. Expected to know basic information about MHM services, willing to follow protocol and chain of command, and dress and speak professionally.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be exposed to a medical office environment having direct contact with patients and clients. Position necessitates bending, stooping, twisting, turning, walking, climbing step stools, sitting and standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift and maneuver at least 25 pounds.
