A Day in the Life

As the Maintenance Mechanic HVAC III, you will:

• Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
• Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, chillers, water cooling towers, forced air converter units, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion valves , refrigerators, freezers
• Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.
• Use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience with BAS systems
• HVAC or electrical trade school certification preferred
• Ability to use multi meter to troubleshoot incoming power and low voltage controls
• EPA universal certification
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Familiar with chiller plant/cooling tower operation and water treatment
• Experience working in cleanroom environments
• Availability to be on an on-call rotation for emergencies and off hours work.
