The HPE GreenLake Platform Cloud (GLCP) team allows you the opportunity to collaborate with both creative and engineering types to build HPE’s next generation cloud platform. Combining agile methodologies and a continuous integration and delivery pipeline, the GreenLake Cloud Platform partners with all of HPE and powers HPE’s transformation as a true cloud provider. Your Contribution to the Organization:

On the GLCP team you will build innovative cloud platform capabilities that enables the delivery of rich hardware and software aaS solutions to customers.

The Senior Director Product Management, GreenLake Cloud Platform, designs, plans, develops and manages a product or portfolio of products throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle: from new product definition or enhancements to existing products; planning, design, forecasting, and production; to end of lifecycle.

How You’ll Make Your Mark:


  • Lead, drive and provide approach for designing the end-to-end strategy for a suite of platform services within HPE GreenLake Platform

  • Provide guiding principles for and defines value proposition, customer segmentation, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive platform services to be leveraged by BUs, Partners, ISVs to build innovative offerings

  • Drive synthesizing market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen

  • Drive integration of the product portfolios lifecycles to HPE GreenLake platform goals across all phases of the platform services portfolio

  • Set teams standards and operational metrics across all portfolios to align with the strategic goals (i.e.: revenue unit/margins, market share, quality performance, channel route to market, quarterly financials and on time to delivery).

What You’ll Need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering is a plus

  • 15+ years of work experience in related field

  • Proven ability to define and execute a business strategy that drives operational excellence & profit.

  • Strong technology foundation and business acumen and understand the technology strategy in the market

  • Demonstrated experience in working with cross functional teams across engineering, sales, IT, marketing, support etc,

  • Recognized industry leader for team and people management skills, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.

  • Recognized industry leader for skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis

  • Knowledge of SaaS business and agile product management

  • Prior experience in building a platform is a plus

  • Experience in Data Center/Cloud technologies, customer/market knowledge

  • Experience using public cloud offerings from AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus

  • Recognized industry leader for knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.

  • Proven experience working with GTM organizations, pricing, packaging, positioning and promotion

  • Knowledge of SaaS consumption models

  • Experience working with GTM/Technology and ISV partners to driving product roadmap for partner requirements

  • Experience driving marketplace strategy for platforms

  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.
