SUMMARY




Kollmorgen is currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to be responsible for ensuring accurate processing and recording of Company's payroll, providing timely and accurate financial information and participating in payroll processing.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with vendor services to process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions by computing wages and deductions data.


• Compile employee time, and payroll data from E-time and other records.


• Review E-time, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.


• Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.


• Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.


• Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.


• Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process.


• Support the implementation and maintenance of new payroll processing platforms, as needed.


• Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, and tax issues.


• Complete routine reporting for audit purposes.

Job Requirements



Education and Experience Requirements

• An Associate Degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.


• Strong PC skills in Word and Excel including an understanding of backing up and restoration of files.


• Strong data entry skills.


• Must be able to meet deadlines and deal with the pressures of tight deadlines.


• Ability to handle confidential data.


• Must be able to maintain effective cross-functional relations with strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to communicate with auditors and provide necessary support data.
