Overview

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, Boise Cascade has two immediate openings for a relationship-building individuals looking to join our Accounts Payable Associates team and build a career in Finance or a similar field.

Responsibilities

You Will:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including processing a high volume of invoices daily


• Sort mail


• Scanning


• Work with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) reports, sort within existing documents and download queries


• Use multiple computer applications throughout the AP process


• Identify and initiate process improvements


• Work with accuracy under stress and important time constraints


• Work in a team environment and contribute to positive morale


• Provide outstanding customer service to our customers


• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Knowledge of accounting procedures and computer-based accounting (ERP) systems

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field


• Knowledge of PeopleSoft


• Knowledge of general Accounts Payable processes for a high-volume/large company


• Industry knowledge in manufacturing and distribution
