Job Description
What we're looking for:

As Intuitive's Employee Communications & Engagement team, we are working hard to create a workplace where employees are informed, engaged, and inspired to have a positive impact on each other, our company, and the world.

Intuitive is in an exciting period of rapid growth, and we're looking for a bright, creative communicator who will lead a small team of communications specialists focused on partnering with internal clients to effectively achieve their goals. You will help coach your functional and executive clients to effectively communicate in written and verbal form so that they achieve their communications objectives, while enabling your team to grow and thrive. This role will serve one of three arms of the executive and functional communications group, primarily working with product operations teams such as engineering, manufacturing, and product design, among others.

In this position, you will:

• Execute on the broader Employee Communications & Engagement strategy and work with multiple teams within the function to provide ideas, insight, and input into this plan


• Develop strong relationships with your internal partners and key stakeholders across the business and the team


• Support and counsel senior leaders and their functional centers of expertise on internal communications strategies that will help them achieve their goals


• Using our client services tools and framework, establish and manage communications plans for major initiatives driven by your internal partners


• Set the priorities and goals of your vertical; mentor and develop team members, enabling them to do their best work in support of these goals


• Produce internal corporate communications materials and assets (e.g., talking points, scripts, emails, key messages, infographics, FAQs, etc.)


• Working with our creative services team, develop a variety of content from writing polished messages to crafting compelling stories to designing effective presentations in support of your clients' communications strategy


• Measure the impact of these communications activities

Qualifications
Requirements

• In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must have:


• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to develop effective presentations and polished written communications; writing samples required


• Working knowledge of AP style


• An aptitude for working with a variety of internal stakeholders, leaders, and audiences


• Ability to think strategically, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments


• Ability to synthesize complex concepts quickly, navigate ambiguity, and creatively solve tough problems


• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude


• Ability to stay calm under pressure


• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


• Degree in English, communications, public relations, or journalism preferred


• 10+ years of related work experience with Internal Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Corporate Communications background preferred


• Three-plus years leading people


• Background in medical device/health care industry preferred
