The F5 Digital Sales organization is a newly formed global sales organization with an opportunity to be a tremendous revenue growth engine for the company. The F5 solution, now combined with NGINX, bridges the gap between NetOps and DevOps with multi-cloud application services that span from code to customer. This role is at the forefront of establishing cutting-edge opportunistic sales motions using AI and automation, digital marketing and big data and analytics to drive impactful demand response and targeted sales coverage. We are looking for an experienced Digital Sales Leader to develop a strategy and build an organization that can successfully scale. You will play a significant role in the future state and structure of our global sales strategy, focused on the people, standard methodologies and tools necessary to sustain long-term growth and profit. In addition to requisite passion, skills, and experience, you have a consistent track record in building and leading high performing teams that exceed revenue targets and associated company priorities. You will have a material impact on our overall performance.
What You’ll Do
Lead all aspects of the management of the Digital Sales organization to identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies with global and theater-wide impacts
Work with other leaders across the company (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.) in order to execute cross-departmental key initiatives
Accurately forecast sales opportunities and deliver monthly sales and revenue quota to ensure profitability goals are achieved/exceeded
Exercise strong hiring skills to maintain a team of top talent and coach, train, motivate and grow direct reports
Directly supervise multiple Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to establish performance goals and measurements
Provide ongoing mentoring to Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to achieve targets and execution of strategic initiatives
Build skills, confidence, and trust with direct reports and provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement
Conduct regular account reviews with direct reports to ensure maximum sales efforts
Conduct presentations to executive decision-makers
Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies
Who You Are
Proven track record of managing M1 and M2s
Highly driven, competitive and lead by example
Experienced knowledge of F5’s propositions of value
Strong leadership background with demonstrated sales organizational development, leading all aspects of a team with multiple levels of structure
In-depth understanding and experience in outbound/outbound sales methodologies, specifically within the Mid-Market and Enterprise models
Experience building and executing customer-obsessed sales strategies and benchmarks for analyzing performance
Strong communication skills, leadership, analytical and decision-making skills
Energetic and encouraging leadership style that builds trusted relationships across all levels

Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively across business units, divisions, sales leadership and executive teams

Qualifications
7-10 years Sales experience
5+ years Management experience
2+ years’ experience selling technology solutions
BA/BS is preferred
