Job Description:

Hillmann Consultings Laboratory group is headquartered in Union, NJ. Our team of laboratory professionals provide an array of small and large scale analytical services to our clients and individual sample analysis for homeowners concerned about possible asbestos containing materials in their home
We have an immediate need for a Laboratory Analyst to join our Lab group in Union, New Jersey. Hillmann is a fast-growing, team-oriented company, looking for a motivated individual to grow and develop with us.

Qualifications & Requirements:
1-2+ years experience with PCM & PLM sample prep and analysis.
1-2+ years experience using a TEM microscope for asbestos analysis
BS/BA Degree in Environmental Science or a related field
Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to work independently and with a team

The position is based out of Union, New Jersey. The hours would be Monday to Friday, shift time to be determined at the time of hire, as well as one Saturday every 2 months. Extra hours may be required to meet business demands. Responsibilities:
Set up lab equipment to complete specific procedures
Perform tests on materials and samples as requested or assigned
Analyze and record data related to test results
Manage inventory of supplies
Calibrate and clean equipment to ensure that equipment works properly and that the lab remains safe
