Location: AdventHealth Hendersonville

The role you’ll contribute: Providing confidential executive-level support to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  Managing and coordinating the administrative functions and welfare within the office of the President/CEO and CFO.  Prepares and facilitates applications for licensure and/or certification for The Joint Commission, AHA, NCHA, HFAP and other entities. 

Assist the President/CEO and CFO in such duties as may be assigned or delegated to the implement services designed to meet the needs of all constituents of AdventHealth Hendersonville.  Regularly required to resolve complex administrative problems independently.  Perform task that are diverse and advanced. May be required to work occasionally outside of the normal work week (M-F; 8a-5p).

  • Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, initiative and independence in supporting the President/CEO and CFO’s office on a wide variety of complex issues.
  • Using initiative to handle a wide variety of administrative support duties, manages complex calendars, for the President/CEO and CFO; and supervises the preparation of materials for meetings and speaking engagements for the President/CEO and CFO as appropriate, including coordinating appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Composes agendas and supporting documentation in preparation for meetings, attends meetings and records minutes of Administrative Council, Board of Directors, Management Action Council, and Finance Committee Meetings. 
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the President/CEO and CFO’s staff, officials and the general public to coordinate and resolve problems and issues related to administrative matters of internal and external nature.  Assists with interpretation of policy to staff, employees, patients and family members.
  • Assists the President/CEO and CFO in timely management of all communications, both written and via telephone, e-mail and voice mail with a variety of constituents; composes letters and statements independently requiring interpretation and application of AdventHealth Hendersonville’s policies, rules, regulations and monitors follow up with all distributions that require answers, responses and written replies.
  • Coordinates annual Strategic Planning Retreat, which includes the Board of Directors, Medical Executive Committee membership and senior leadership.
  • Manages Health and Safety issues in the office of the President/CEO and CFO.
  • Acts as team lead for all Executive Assistants in Administration.
Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:


  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Seven years of progressive administrative, office management or executive secretarial experience is required.
