What we need:



Mohawk is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to manage assigned cases and related legal billing, matter management, and discovery processes, including E-discovery.



What you'll do:

• Litigation case management of 100+ ongoing matters, including communication with outside counsel, reviewing and revising first drafts of pleadings and discovery responses.
• Maintain legal case management system, ensuring it is complete and up to date, ensuring litigation deadlines are met.
• Coordinate outside counsel management, including e-billing, budgets and evaluation. Triage or resolve issues raised by internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist discovery process by working collaboratively across the organization to collect documents and information from document custodians and subject matter experts, ensuring process is effective and efficient.
• Assist e-discovery process and outside vendors.
• Manage service of process and outside vendor.
• Manage litigation hold process including liaising with information security.
• First level review of outside counsel invoices, ensuring billing guidelines are met.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reporting.
• Special projects and other duties as requested.

What you have:

• BA or equivalent experience. Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Notary public or ability to quickly be approved for notary public certification.
• 7+ years' experience with E-discovery vendor management and complex litigation discovery.
• Experience with e-billing management software, Thomson Reuters Tracker preferred.
• Law firm and/or public company in-house experience sufficient for a key understanding of legal organizations, functions, administrative needs, and technology requirements.
• Knowledge in e-billing and matter management

What you're good at:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to effectively work with various departments and levels.
• Strong project and knowledge management skills. Ability to identify areas for improvement and to act on those ideas.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel. Project management experience a plus.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Excellent judgment and delivery-oriented attitude.
• Unquestioned discretion handling confidential information.
• Experience with document management systems.
• Self-starter; ability to work independently.
